A BUgirl event is a 4-hour event (JR events are 3 ½) in which we send our BUgirl team to your church or school or community group, etc. to run an extra-special, extra-fun night for girls along with female youth leaders.
Our Beautiful Unique Girl (BUgirl) team recognizes how challenging it is to be a teenage girl in a society obsessed with a very narrow image of what young women should look like or believe about themselves. The girls who attend our events are exposed to role models from the Bible and are given an opportunity to examine the lies they hear and how in Jesus Christ they can live free from these lies.
A girl who discovers how much God loves her will be able to experience what it means to live a life of purpose.
Get 1-2 adults to embrace the idea of having such an event (try a parent or a youth leader).

4 EASY EVENT PLANNING STEPS
STEP 1: BUILD YOUR EVENT TEAM
Youth Leader: You are responsible for the contractual agreement and for building and assisting the Event Team.
Event Team: One (1) Event Promoter The Event Promoter is responsible to promote the event in your local church and community. The promotional package will be sent in emails and through the mail. A special link to our online page will be given where the package can also be downloaded from our site. This will be their main source of material to use in publicizing the event. The Event Promoter should be assertive, conscientious, a clear communicator and have a solid reputation in your church community and with your youth.
Female Youth Sponsors/Volunteers (we find that 1 youth sponsor/volunteer to 5 girls is a great ratio) ages 18+ to help the Event Promoter carry out the event and to attend the event alongside the girls.
STEP 2: PROMOTE YOUR EVENT Promo Package This BUgirl Promo Package should be given to the Event Promoter. Inside will be materials and a helpful task checklist with a timeline. Our BUgirl Event Coordinator will work alongside the Event Promoter to provide assistance and to answer questions.
STEP 3: PREPARE FOR YOUR EVENT Event Details These will be emailed to the Event Promoter. They include times of the BUgirl team’s arrival and departure, accommodation needs, meal arrangements and details for event set-up.
Pre-Arrival Questionnaire A Pre-Event Questionnaire will be included for the Event Promoter to fill in the required details, to be verified with the Youth Leader and then returned to us. You will receive a special link to an online Pre-Arrival questionnaire for your convenience.
STEP 4: FOLLOW UP AFTER YOUR EVENT Follow-Up Questionnaire This is to be completed on the week following the event. You will receive a special link to an online Post-Event questionnaire to be filled out and sent back to us.
