Okay...fun tour story...you ready?
When we were packing up for one of our events recently we had a fun little experience happen. This night we were packed on a hill and drove up the gym. It was quiet a steep hill. We loaded up the entire trailer after an AMAZING event...as we were getting ready to leave we started the vehicle to pull forward. The tires spun...which seemed odd because there was no snow on the ground. So we tried to drive back...nothing...the tires kept on spinning. We all went out to see what the problem was.
OH NO!!!
At this moment we realized our dilemma...our hitch had sunk into the grass...we were stuck. We all tried to push the trailer...haha...yeah didn't work. We are not that strong. We even had Kylagh. Now most of you probably don't know this but Kylagh is ridiculous strong. But still...even Kylagh couldn't lift the trailer.
So with a big sigh we unloaded the trailer and then our 15 passenger van (who we have affectionatly named Polly) MOVED!!!
No words could describe the hooting and hollering that came from our team. We were FREE at last!!! We may have danced a little...there may have been a little laughter...and a few tears.
So we learned our greatest lesson yet...DO NOT LOAD A TRAILER WITHOUT CHECKING THE HITCH FIRST!!! ;)

Chilling in Winkler, MB

We go to relax in Winkler, MB for a couple of days. So much fun!!! The girls and I spontaneously decided to take some pictures with some tractors. YEAH!!
We also went to Pembina Valley to take some pictures. Here you will see Tracey and Kylagh living dangeously and standing on the edge of a cliff-like drop.
Tracey is from Winkler so we also got to hang out with her family and friends. It was amazing. :)

Elbow...Eyebrow?

Did you know that there is a places called Elbow and Eyebrow in Saskatchewan? Well, we didn't go to Eyebrow...but we sure went to Elbow, SK.
My grandma decided to suprise me and eat lunch with us. She even brought me diet coke!
I loved all the organizers there...Elbow, SK has only about 350 people in it but we got about 45 people to come out!!! That's a large group for a town of that sizes!!
Yeah Elbow...you simply rock.

Reinland Manitoba and the Case of the Purple Bell Peppers

Well, we sure had fun in Reinland, MB. A ton of girls showed up...we loved them all!! One thing that we enjoyed were these purple bell peppers. I have never had purple bell peppers before. In this picture Kylagh (one of the girls on the team is trying them). Oh, Reinland we loved you SOOO much!!

So we have been shopping...it seems like every day is another shopping run...we are getting ready for the tour. So much fun...here is Heather (from the tour) looking beautiful!! She's showing off a basket that will be part of our display for the tour. When you come to the show...look to see if you can find where this basket is...let me know if you find it:)
I LOVE to walk!!

You have no idea just how much I love to walk!!! When I am back home in Sherwood Park, AB...I will often go for a walk for 2-3 hours. I leave my home with no idea where I am going...I just follow my feet and think...and listen to music. Sometimes I even write songs as I am walking.
Well today was awesome because Kylagh showed me a walking trail that she discovered here in Winnipeg. AMAZING!!! I've put a picture here. GORGEOUSNESS!!! Ah, I'm lovin' it.

Hanging Out at the Forks

Okay...I just got to say that if you ever come to Winnipeg to come visit me...we got to go to the Forks. It's pretty awesome:) The girls that I am on tour with...and I went there and it is amazing!! The Forks was a trading post where the settlers used to trade and now its a real fun place to shop and hang out. Here's a picture of some of us. YEAH!!
