Shari Klassen – Event Bookkeeper and Inventory Manager
I am very excited to be joining the BUgirl team!! I have spent the last year volunteering with the senior high youth ministry at my church and have come to know and deeply love many beautiful young women. Through those relationships I've begun to understand the importance of making sure that each one knows and really believes the truth about who she is, how awesomely God has created her, and how incredibly valued and loved she is. I'm so thankful to be a part of this BUgirl ministry that seeks to do just that! When I'm not working, I enjoy photography, biking, and watching Star Trek :)
Kaylyn Holmes
Hi, my name is Kaylyn and I am 22 years old. I am from Winnipeg, Manitoba. I love to sing and love just about anything that involves music! I also like drawing, reading and laughing! I'm kind of a klutz sometimes but my family and friends love me anyway. ? I am so excited for this coming year! I know I will be challenged in many new ways and I know I will grow closer and closer to God, which I am really looking forward to! I'm pumped to be able to minister to girls all over the country and to help them see that they have a purpose and they are extremely important to God, as we all are!
Robyn Froese
Hey everybody, my name is Robyn Froese and I am from Saskatoon, SK. I am 18 years old and have just graduated from high school! I love my family and spending time with people. A few more things I like are: music, writing songs, surfing the web, photography, laughing, random facts and traveling. I love having coffee with people and the smell of Christmas. My favorite sounds are the buzz of bicycle tires and birds chirping in the morning. I am so excited to tour across this beautiful country while being the hands and feet of Jesus. I find it truly amazing that God has been preparing me my whole life for this upcoming year. I am ready to see where God will lead us and what He will teach us next year. I can't wait to meet new people and share with them how they were wonderfully made and that God had a plan for them even before they were born.
Mikale Ainsworth
Hey ya’ll! My name is Mikale Ainsworth and I am from Kenora, Ontario. I just recently graduated from high school and I’m really looking forward to the next 9 months with BUgirl. I love spending time with my family and hanging out with friends. Some of my favourite things are travelling, meeting new people, running and playing soccer, going for long walks and laughing. I don’t have a favourite season because they all have their merits. Breakfast is my favourite meal of the day because I love cereal. I love anything that involves music. My hope for this year is that God will use the BUgirl team to reach out and inspire girls to live with purpose, walk in freedom and discover their beauty. I trust that God will bless me and the other BUgirls on this wonderful 9-month journey of making a difference in the lives of teen girls across Canada.
Vicki Thoms
Hi, my name is Vicki Thoms and I am 18 years old! I am from Georgetown, Ontario and I love to laugh, a lot. I’m a huge fan of hippopotamuses and ducks, the colour purple and watermelon. I enjoy music and singing in my youth’s worship band and I am attempting to learn to play the guitar and piano! I love to go camping with my family and play different sports. I live on coffee and I take photographs of everything and anything. I’m super excited for this year to travel the country and have the opportunity to speak to beautiful daughters of Christ from every background. I’m looking forward to sharing hope and spreading love by speaking with all the girls that we meet about God’s love for them personally.
